The goal of this project is to create a community mural that
is student-driven, and designed and painted in collaboration with both students
and members of the organizations (a complete list found on our website below),
as well as other community members.
This project will be a rich way to encapsulate the mission
of the SAME project - to engage youth as mentor-leaders in community contexts
while emphasizing anti-racism, acceptance, diversity and inclusion - and it
will provide a lasting legacy to the City of Surrey.

It is countdown to mural painting day...so much work has gone into the planning of this day and the end result will be amazing! Working with the team of secondary students has generated insights and passion. All of the partner groups have provided guidance and support...Watching this happen on Thursday will be a delight.
