Leaving on a jet plane...

Hi Everyone -

I'm in the airport in Toronto waiting to board my flight to Vancouver. I'm really excited to meet you all and to participate in this great project! It's been awhile since I've done any mural painting, but I can't wait to get back to it. Anthony asked us what made us want to participate in the project? For me I guess it was because I wanted to do something really hands-on and participatory before enjoying the academic part of my time in Vancouver at AERA. In particular, I wanted to meet interesting people and be part of a project that can make a difference in a community. Like another blogger said, I come with an open heart and mind.
